Yolanda Serrano Romero  DVM Cert AVP (Stud Med) MRCVS

Yolanda joined the team at ERS in January 2019. Yolanda graduated in Spain by University of Murcia in 2005. She worked for six years as a freelance equine vet at home, arriving to The UK in 2011. Since University, Yolanda developed special interest in equine reproduction. She worked in a large first opinion practice in Berkshire, where she was in charge of the stud work of well known farms as The Royal Studs at Hampton Court. For the 2018 breeding season she moved to a large equine reproduction centre in the Cotswolds, where she improved her skills in embryo transfer.

 

Yolanda was awarded an Advanced Veterinary Practice Certificate in Equine Stud Medicine by the University of Liverpool in 2017. She likes all aspects of the Stud Medicine, specially neonatology and late pregnant mare management. She also likes equine medicine, having special interest in gastrointestinal diseases.

 

Outside of work Yolanda likes spending time with her husband and her hobbies are cooking, playing golf, and hiking with her three dogs.
