Equine Reproductive Services (UK) are the UK agents for Sisteck foaling alarms. James and Charlie have worked with this type of alarm all over the World and have found them to be one of the most reliable type of alarm available.
C6 Birth Control
The system works by having a micro-transmitter stitched to the mare’s vulva. At the point of delivery the contact is broken and the transmitter signals the receiver. The receiver is fitted with a SIM card which is programmed with up to 8 telephone numbers which will be called and texted in turn with a ‘birth alarm’. The system can also be linked to an external alarm.
The C6 Birth Control system is the entry level model which has a range of 100 meters in the field, multiple transmitters can be used with the system with a transmitter life of a minimum of two breeding seasons.
The C6 EVO is the evolution of the C6 Birth Control. The EVO transmitter has a significantly increased range of 500 meters, in addition it has an LED indicator light to confirm connection, the light also flashes to indicate the life of the battery within the transmitter. The C6 EVO adapter is used to adapt the C6 birth control system with the EVO transmitter.

C6 Evolution
The C6 EVO is the evolution of the C6 Birth Control. The EVO transmitter has a significantly increased range of 500 meters, in addition it has an LED indicator light to confirm connection, the light also flashes to indicate the life of the battery within the transmitter.
The C6 EVO receiver works directly with the EVO transmitter. It is a touch screen unit that operates all functions and allows simple programming of telephone numbers and alarms. The system also allows identification of the specific alarm which is activated so when multiple transmitters are being used staff know which alarm is going off and which mare is foaling. The C6 EVO receiver has an internal battery in case of power failures.
The C6 EVO receiver also has additional functions that can be utilised for the purposes of farm and/or stable security so that it can be utilised all year round and not just for the breeding season.
