Originally from East Yorkshire, Fran graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2018 and went straight on to complete an internship at Bell Equine in the South East. Before coming to ERS, Fran also worked as an ambulatory vet in Doncaster.

​

After joining us in January 2021, Fran spent the following winter in the Southern Hemisphere and thoroughly enjoyed a season with Scone Equine, chiefly working with Thoroughbreds.

​

Fran has a keen interest in all aspects of equine stud practice, particularly neonatal medicine. She is also interested in orthopaedic imaging, wound and pain management and internal medicine. Fran is an Equine Exports Official Veterinarian (OV).

​

Outside work, most of her time is taken up with her (crazy) TB Hugo and trying to wear out her lurcher, Reggie.
